Thinking of ” One Another ” and the Bible

It should be no surprise that Scripture has much to say about interpersonal relationships ; there are many ” one anothers ”  mentioned in God’s Word. Although this is not some deep exegesis of an obscure text , it is vitally important that we understand and apply these verses to our lives. Here are a few commands from God’s Word on how we shoild relate to our brothers and sisters in the Church.

1) Confess our faults to on another ( James 5:16 )

2)  Edify one another (1Thes. 5:11, Romans 14:19)

3)  Bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2)

4)  Pray for one another (James 5:16)

5)  Be kind to one another (Ephesians 4:32)

6)  Submit to one another (Ephesians 5:21)

7)  Show hospitality to one another (1Peter 4:9)

8)  Serve one another (1Thes.4:18 ; 1Peter 4:10)

9)  Comfort one another  (1Thes.4:18 ; 5:11)

10) Restore one another (Galatians 6:)

Just a few things to work on in our spare time ! More later ……
